The Sparrows Might Return in The Umbrella Academy Season 4, Here’s Why

Season 3 of The Umbrella Academy ended on a note of uncertainty for Sparrow Academy. It is debatable whether they would at all appear in season 4. The Kugelblitz in season 3 confirmed the fate of five members, while Sloane and Ben were spared and might return in season 4.

In season 3, The Sparrows were introduced as another version of the original seven, but in a parallel universe. They were also seven individuals with superpowers and had an anthromorphic monkey guide them throughout their childhoods.

It is being debated whether the Sparrows would return in season 4 of The Umbrella Academy. Dead characters in the show have a way of reappearing in another timeline. This happened earlier with both Reginald and Pogo. So, the five Sparrows who died could reappear in another timeline.

At the end of season 3, we saw Ben appear in the courtyard for the final scene. So, his return in season 4 is pretty much confirmed. However, the return of the others remain doubtful.

Due to the Kugelblitz, five of the seven members of The Sparrow Academy died. Marcus perished bTecause of Kulgelblitz, while Lester Pocket’s burst of sound energy killed Jayme and Alonso.

Christopher exploded and triggered the Kugelblitz once again, killing Fei in the process. As of now, the only two members who are alive among the Sparrows are Ben and Sloan.

Ben’s return in season 4 is confirmed, but Sloan did not appear in the post-credit scene. However, Sloan was present when Allison set the reset button.

Theories also suggest that all the Sparrows could be very much alive and have a fair chance of returning in season 4. Since the ending of season 3 served as a reset, the death of the Sparrows can also be reversed since they were born at the same time as the members of the Umbrella Academy.
