Wonder Woman in Justice League Snyder Cut to Be Different Then Original

Zack Snyder has been continuously teasing film stills from his version of Justice League. In 2017, the film went through some significant changes before and during the production stages. It was due to Snyder’s departure following his daughter’s passing.

However, Snyder released a never seen before still featuring Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) from his version of Justice League on Twitter. The post was captioned “Get Ready 2021.”

The still featured Diana Prince with her back to what looked like a stone wall. That still looks unfamiliar as the scene didn’t seem like it was from the 2017 Joss Whedon’s version of Justice League.

Another still was released not long before Snyder’s tweet. And this time, it was released by a fan, Fiona Zheng, assuming she received it directly from Snyder himself.

Fiona Zheng is the #ReleaseSnyderCut campaign’s movement leader and a significant contributor in turning this movement into what we now know as Zack Snyder’s Justice League on HBO Max.

In the still posted by Fiona Zheng, we can see Wonder Woman in an epic battle scene with Steppenwolf. After years of receiving just the black and white stills, we finally get to see an image with CGI and special effects. The image shows how close to finishing the project is.

Wonder Woman was also featured in the sneak peek released by the official HBO Max YouTube channel on June 18, 2020. (Which, by the way, looks Cinedope. See what I did there?)

The estimated budget of the film’s restoration is $70 Million. The new material for the film was shot in October 2020. Zack Snyder’s Justice League is scheduled to release on HBO Max in March 2021.

Owing to the long length of the version, the film will be released as a 4-episode miniseries. Each episode will run for 60 minutes. However, it’s not yet confirmed if all the episodes will be combined into a single film.

About Justice League Snyder Cut

Co-produced by Warner Bros. and DC Films, Justice League Snyder Cut is the fifth film of the DC Extended Universe and based on the DC Comics superhero team. As the theatrical release, Zack Snyder’s Justice League features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, and Ray Fisher.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League follows the Justice League—Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg—as they attempt to save the world from the catastrophic threat of Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons.

Although fans have asked for Snyderverse to continue Warner Bros has no such plans.
