The 2021 film’s actors Alexander Skarsgard (It), Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things), Rebecca Hall (Parade’s End), Brian Tyree Henry (The Woman in the Window), and Kyle Chandler (Godzilla: King of Monsters) have not confirmed their return for the 2024 sequel.

In July 2021, filming for the Monsterverse film began featuring a beach attack scene, and now there’s another update. According to the Twitter account @KDM_Monsters, the clapperboard used during filming has revealed “ORIGINS” as the working title.

The working title suggests that the origins of the two Titans, Kong and Godzilla, will be explored in the upcoming sequel. It may also put forth a different time setting featuring the old civilizations that inhabited the Hollow Earth an era before.

Since the announcement of the sequel, fans have craved insight into where the most recent MonsterVerse film will take the franchise’s story, and this title has dropped a big hint. But for now, only theories will have to satisfy the fans’ curiosity until March 2024.
