In last week’s episode, Zatanna reaches out to Nightwing to help her trace down Conner. Nightwing and Zatanna also look into Bart’s disappearance and find him on CCTV footage with two mysterious teenagers who don’t seem to officially exist as the facial recognition software doesn’t have any record of them. Meanwhile, Conner awakens in the phantom zone, unable to remember anything other than the crest.

Conner tells Zod about the fact that he killed Kal-El and Zod is pleased to know that Kal-El is dead. Phantom girl warns Conner about the danger to their lives. Nightwing and the rest try to get access to the Phantom zone by summoning Klarion. However, this plan ends up backfiring.

Young Justice Season 4 Episode 22 Recap
The ringmaster of Haly’s International traveling circus introduces Nightwing as Daring Dan Danger. The crowd is stunned by his impressive acrobatic performance. Zatanna meets with him after the show and tells him she’s looking for a detective. Meanwhile, in the Phantom Zone Dru-Zod asks Conner why he was sent there.
He doesn’t seem to have much memory of what happened and only remembers his crest, which he draws on the floor. Nightwing and Zatanna work together and while he initially doesn’t believe that Conner is still alive, Zatanna manages to change his mind. Their investigation leads them to Superman, who they saw in the CCTV footage with the duo who were last seen with Bart.
Superman refuses to divulge any information about them but reassures Zatanna that they are trustworthy. They discover that Bart stole some equipment from the headquarters. After meeting Raquel, Nightwing deduces that Conner is stuck in the phantom zone.
