In last week’s episode, Nightwing and the squad look into possible solutions to rescue Conner from the Phantom Zone. They’re finally able to locate him but he has no memory of his friends as his mind is still fractured. Meanwhile, Phantom Girl tells Superman how she rescued Conner from dying on Mars and that’s how they ended up getting stuck in the Phantom Zone. While Conner realizes his friends are real, he’s unsure about who he should side with as he’d already pledged his loyalty to the House of Zod.

Young Justice Season 4 Episode 25 Speculation
The squad’s rescue mission takes a turn for the worst when Zod declares that if he can’t leave the Phantom Zone, then no one can. He orders his followers to take control of the squad, and while they try to fight back, their powers are weakened in the Phantom Zone. Finally, Conner proves his loyalty to Zod by attacking Kaldur.
Zatanna is also unable to take Conner out of the Zone against his will and the squad has no choice but to escape the Zone without him. Will they be able to devise a new plan to save their friend? Stay tuned to find out.

Young Justice Season 4 Episode 24 Recap
Nightwing and the rest of the squad are finally able to locate Superboy in the Phantom Zone. Conner recognizes Dick but believes the rest of them to be a hallucination caused by Zone sickness. Zatanna tells him they’re here to rescue him and bring him back home. However, Dru-Zod and his followers ambush them.
Meanwhile, Prince J’emm contacts Miss Martian and tells her he believes Conner might still be alive. Prince J’emm and Phantom Girl tell M’gann that she’s probably the only one who can bring Conner back. Eventually, Conner remembers taking a photo with the squad and realizes they’re not a hallucination. His memories are still fractured and he’s unsure of siding with his friends. He also still believes that he killed Superman.
Superman arrives at the Watchtower and Prince J’emm and Phantom Girl are aboard from Mars. Phantom Girl tells them how they came to be stuck in the Phantom Zone and that she did make an attempt to phase Conner out when she regained consciousness, but by that point, Conner had gotten too influenced by the Zods and had pledged his loyalty to them.
