Chapter 6 of the Young Rock Season 2 series, titled “Kiss and Release”, has been released on Tuesday, Apr 19, 2022 at 5:00 pm PDT.

Young Rock Season 2 Episode 5 Recap
The episode begins with Dwayne and his campaign team on a private jet. Dwayne sees footage of Julien rallying with his rival for the election.
With only one week left for the election, his team tells him that a public feud with an average citizen like this could seriously affect his poll.
Casey reminds Dwayne that this is a time-sensitive issue they need to resolve quickly. While he acknowledges this, Dwayne launches into a story about how he moved back to Tampa after he got kicked off the football team in Calgary.
After moving back in with his parents, Dwayne started working as a trainer and told people at his work that this is his off-season job. He kept thinking about his conversation with Dany—and this is the first time he’d admitted to wanting to try wrestling as an adult.
His failure at becoming a professional football player made him apprehensive about acknowledging this new dream out loud.
He meets with an old teammate over some drinks and the conversation only makes him think about his future path even more.
He gets a call from his coach offering him another chance at playing pro football but he turns it down. The call only confirms his thoughts of putting his football days behind him and taking up wrestling.
He finally tells his parents and while his mother is thrilled at the idea, his father doesn’t feel the same way. Reluctantly, his father agrees to train him to become a professional wrestler.
