‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’, the Snyder Cut, is Good to Go

Fans who have been waiting for the Snyder Cut of DCEU’s Justice League finally have some good news—the director himself confirmed that the film is finished. The movie is scheduled to premiere on HBO Max in March and is reportedly four hours long. It remains to be seen whether the Snyder Cut is received with better reviews than Joss Whedon’s version.

Nearly four years ago, Snyder walked away from Justice League due to problems in production and personal reasons. Joss Whedon took over in the post-production stage.

When the film was released in 2017, fans were left disappointed. What was supposed to be the equivalent of Marvel’s Avengers was an underwhelming mess. Ever since then, the fans have been petitioning for the Snyder Cut to be released to see what the movie could have been.

The wait for Snyder’s remastered version has been long. When one fan asked Snyder on Vero if the film is finally finished, the director replied in the affirmative.

With the Joss Whedon team in a public dispute with one of the actors in the franchise, the support and expectations from the Snyder Cut are not just from the fans. Zack Snyder is known for being one of the most professional and amicable directors amongst his colleagues, and some have already claimed that his version is far superior to Whedon’s. Cinematographer Fabian Wagner has even stated that the Snyder Cut is the only Justice League movie in his opinion.

The Snyder Cut will have Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, and Ray Fisher reprise their roles as Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg, respectively.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League premieres on HBO Max on March 18, 2021.
