Lucifer S6 Wasn’t All That Bad: Here’s 5 Things We Absolutely Loved

“The best thing to do is always to follow your greatest desire,” said the lovable, most-human ever Lucifer in S3 Ep 3. Netflix and fans took this advice a bit too seriously.

It isn’t easy to unpack all the ups and downs that Lucifer’s final goodbye offered viewers. Tying up all the loose ends for the show was a bit… weak. But all the characters seemed like a big happy family, which is poles apart from what we see at the very start of the show.

Season 6 was highly awaited, especially with Deskerstar shippers losing their minds wondering how the love birds will be together. But, the finale offers more love stories taking flight than just Lucifer and Chloe’s.

High on emotions, humor, and sass, season 6 might not have a perfect or flawless ending, but it does have some really adorable moments. It was almost like the writers noted down fans’ wishlists and ticked them off one by one.

Let’s get into the five incredible arcs that left fans’ hearts to melt into a puddle of love and happiness!

Lucifer And Amenadiel Find Their Calling

Humans don’t need to worry about the handling of Earth, Heaven, or Hell anymore. They’ve found their rightful owners, after all.

Rory

Lucifer eventually grew closer to humanity after disliking his job in Hell. But he soon realized he is best at helping lost souls “see the light.” Especially after his encounter with his time-traveling daughter Rory, he finally understands that his calling is to be Hell’s therapist!

Growing up with humans, loving a human, birthing a child, being naive to humans’ many flaws – Amenadiel deserved to be the new God. The aspiring LAPD officer takes up the Throne and helps oversee (more like protect) his and Lucifer’s friends and families in Heaven and Earth.

Even the OG God can’t match up to how good ‘Amenagod’ is. I said what I said. (Remember him asking Chloe, ‘Ready to go home?’ and taking her to Hell to live with Lucifer?!)

Dan Returns To Heaven

Who knew we’d be shedding tears at Dan and Trixie’s final goodbye moments? I certainly didn’t. Losing his ex-wife, his current girlfriend, tricked into seeing Lucifer’s real face and even getting killed – Dan’s storyline was filled with tragedy.

Dan Returns to Earth

Only when he’s tricked by rebellious Rory and returns to Earth possessing his killer’s body does he realize why he can’t go to HeavenHeaven – his precious young girl, Trixie, is alone on Earth. He visits his daughter, realizes she has grown up as an intelligent, badass kid who is proud of her father, finally lets go. The cherry on the cake is him meeting his girlfriend Charlotte in Heaven!

Charlie Grew Wings!

Who’s here for a half-human, half-angel kid? I am! Charlie, Linda and Amenadiel’s child, has been special since he was born. Celestial beings could sense him and vice versa. In season 5, Amenadiel rejected being a God because he wanted to spend time with his wife and son. While they raise him thinking he’s just a human child, the last episode shows him sprouting cool wings! Now that’s one thing to boast about in school – being God’s favorite child, quite literally.

Maze And Eve Got Happily Married

After the many ups and downs and betrayals the couple face, Maze and Eve have finally found their happy ending. The couple had a really tough road, so the end was well deserved.

With many personal problems set aside, the two finally decide to enjoy their present and take on whatever shit life throws their way in the future together. Their wedding was probably the sweetest moment in the entire season!

Ella Found A Nice Guy

Carol Corbett

After a traumatic past, all we wanted was for Ella to have someone to trust again. And we’re so glad writers finally gave her Carol Corbett. Take notes because this is what a healthy relationship looks like. They both shared their problems, slowly taking positive steps towards their future.

With so many loveable moments, I think we can let go of the story’s loose ends and immerse ourselves into the characters finding love again!
