Since making her debut in the Clone Wars as Anakin’s former Padawan, Ahsoka Tano has become one of the fan-favorite characters in the Star Wars fandom.
The live-action form of the Togruta warrior was brought to life by Rosario Dawson in the Mandalorian and then The Book of Boba Fett. After her appearances in the two spinoffs, Tano got her titular series, which is set to release this year.
Speaking on NBC’s Today show, Dawson revealed a tentative release window for the upcoming Disney+ series. The Ahsoka Tano actor confirmed that the titular show is “probably going to come out in the fall” on the streaming platform.

‘Ahsoka,’ that’s probably going to come out in the Fall. We’re going to have ‘Haunted Mansion’ coming out in August [this has been recently pushed to up to late July] first.

Since Haunted Mansion will hit Disney+ on July 28, 2023, we can expect Ahsoka to release sometime between September and November this year.
Showrunner Dave Filoni is working on Ahsoka’s story, and the series stars Dawson in the lead, with other actors joining her, including Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger, Ray Stevenson, and Ivanna Sakhno.
Chopper the droid will also be making his live-action debut in the upcoming Star Wars series, and we might even get a live-action appearance of Thrawn.
The plot is being kept under wraps, but the show will likely be a continuation of Rebels with a hyper-focus on our titular character.
Who knows? Season 1 might focus on Ahsoka and Sabine trying to find Ezra after he flung himself and Thrawn off into space, and instead, find out both of them made it out alive and set up Thrawn as an antagonist.
