You Can Watch The Suicide Squad A Week Early For Free!

The Suicide Squad is giving fans a chance to watch the movie early in theatres on July 29, with free reservation tickets. This will be followed by an NSFW Q&A with director James Gunn and the cast.

The happy announcement for the screening event titled “You Don’t Know Squad” was made by Gunn on Twitter. The screening will take place in 24 locations. Check out if there are screenings/tickets available for your location.

A few things to note: The event and tickets will be free. However, reserving a ticket does not guarantee you a seat in the theatre. Theatre seats will be filled on a first come first serve basis. Those who do not reserve a ticket will not be allowed to queue up or enter the theatre.

Reddit users who have previously attended early screening events, (2016’s Suicide Squad included) have advised fans to start queueing at least one and a half to two hours prior to the event.

The logistics of the Q&A are still under wraps but our best guess is that it will be virtual.

The Suicide Squad will see a new Task Force X with a few old fan favorites (Quinn, Boomerang, Waller) embark on a mission of destroying the Nazi-era prison Jotunheim, located on the island Corto Maltese. You’d think a little boom, boom, pow and the mission would be done. But no, for Task Force X, nothing is this simple — as they get tangled in the land’s political rows and of course, a gigantic alien starfish.

Early critics and fans reviews have already deemed the movie a must-watch, tagging it as funny, gory and full of heart that Gunn is known for.

Warner Bros and DCEU have previously had early screenings, but for The Suicide Squad, the stakes are higher. A positive early screening with ardent fans hyped up will guarantee the general public taking a chance to watch The Suicide Squad in theatres, which is exactly the redemption it needs.

Fans already seem very excited, evident in the fact that ticket reservations for many of the locations are already sold out. If you’re still eyeing the opportunity, you better hurry up!
