Weather People Clips Tease Park Min Young & Song Kang’s Office Romance

Weather People Clips Tease Park Min Young & Song Kang’s Office Romance

As Weather People draws closer to its February release, JTBC has dropped two new contrasting clips that tease a thrilling office romance between Park Min Young and Song Kang.

Weather People: The Cruelty of Office Romance is a love story that draws similarities between the weather and people.

In the first teaser, the Korea Meteorological Administration employees are hard at work to accurately predict weather forecasts. The clip further solidifies the show’s central theme and opens with the text, “1 percent weather probability can change, and so can people’s feelings.”

Song Kang’s Lee Shi Woo comes off strong as he argues with senior forecaster Um Dong Han (Lee Sung Wook). Moon Tae Yu’s forecaster Shin Seok Ho and Yoon Sa Bong’s analysis action officer Oh Myung Joo also struggle as they feel the pressures at work.

Weather forecast director Go Bong Chan (Kwon Hae Hyo) is strict and wants all predictions to be perfect. Park Min Young’s Jin Ha Kyung is determined to deliver accurate data no matter how unpredictable the weather gets.

The weather is similar to how people’s daily life changes from time to time, and it’s essential to provide people with correct information. We also get to see how things run at the national weather forecast service’s office.

As it’s an office romance, Ha Kyung and Shi Woo are also seen exchanging glances and smiling at each other.

Weather People Official Teaser 1:

The second teaser has a slightly less intense feel to it. The chemistry between Ha Kyung and Shi Woo is evident. They also complement each other at work as Ha Kyung intently observes the data, and Shi Woo impressively predicts the rain despite it being a sunny day.

The clip is reminiscent of other office love stories as Ha Kyung and Shi Woo have a secretive relationship and quickly diffuse the situation each time they’re close to being caught.

We see Shi Woo hug Ha Kyung when no one’s around. Another shot shows him trying to get her out of a restaurant secretly. Later, as the pair is driving to their office together, one of their colleagues spots them. It’ll be hard to avoid suspicion with the last one!

Weather People Official Teaser 2:

These teasers come just a few days after JTBC released two short clips that gave us the first look at Song Kang and Park Min Young’s chemistry in the series.

JTBC describes Park Min Young’s Jin Ha Kyung, a general forecaster, as “an intelligent and highly organized individual who does everything by the book and is fastidious about keeping her personal and professional lives separate.” Whereas Song Kang’s Lee Si Woo, a special reporter, is “a free spirit who is always thinking outside the box. Despite his impressive IQ of 150, all he cares about is the weather.”

Weather People: The Cruelty of Office Romance is set to air sometime in February 2022.
