The San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital doctors, treat a nursing home’s residents amidst a power outage, putting out fires and saving lives on the 100th episode of the show. Apart from the mismatch of missing old men, the whole episode had a melancholy feel.
Daniel and Jordan’s patient with dementia passed away after one perfect moment and Morgan’s dilemma had us down in the feels. Shawn and Powell’s stubborn attitude and verbal fights entertained us, But what’s next for The Good Doctor?
1. Episode 7 Synopsis/Speculation
When a woman pregnant with sextuplets arrives at the hospital, Dr. Andrews must split the doctors into teams to ensure their health and safety following their high-risk delivery; Shaun and Lea face their own hurdles as they discuss starting a family.
Next week’s episode will be a baby centric one with at least six babies! This will definitely stir some feelings in Shaun and Lea as they discuss their own plans for another child.
Next week’s episode will be pivotal for the couple dealing with the trauma of losing a child, so viewers should get the handkerchiefs ready.
Though Shaun and Powell find civility between them at the end of this week’s episode, we can’t be sure that all the bad blood will simply vanish. The upcoming episode will highlight their relationship for the rest of the season

5. Episode 6 Recap
Dr. Powell and Shaun bicker differ over the methods for Dr. Lim’s surgery, while the other doctors attend to nursing home’s residents.
Dr. Park faces difficulty when his recently revived 90-year-old patient, urges him for a threatening surgery after her MRI shows a tumor. Though hesitant about it, Park acts on his patient’s wish, and the surgery is successful.
Dr. Allen and Dr. Perez have a much more dire case on their hands. May has mere hours to live, and with nothing else left to do, the two doctors try to find a way to get her last wish to come true – a Paris trip with her late husband.
Allen presents the idea of a VR trip, which truly brightens the dying elderly’s last moments. She passes away, and Perez commends Allen on a job well done. Asher and Morgan try to place one of their missing patients but unknowingly “kidnap” another, but all ends well.
In the end, Morgan decides the reason for her loneliness and grief doesn’t end with her breakup, but if she wants to move on, she needs something more permanent. She ponders if having a child might be the answer to fill her void.
Shaun constantly demeans Powell and disregards her opinions based on the fact that he doesn’t like her. She doesn’t back down and confronts him about his behavior, but the two seem at odds until they find their common ground – surgical history.
The two finally find a space where they can get along and save their patient despite the power outage using Civil War medical techniques.
