This Is Us Season 6 Episode 8 Speculation

After the talk, Kevin is finally warming up to Miguel and brings him the house plans. Rebecca tells her children that she doesn’t want her illness to deter them in any way. She puts forward Miguel as the person responsible for her care because she didn’t want her children to deal with her inevitable death with the same uncertainty and chaos as they did with Jack’s. In a heartfelt moment, she passes on the secret sugar pie recipe to Kate, who will uphold this family tradition someday.

Kate and Toby’s marriage is now falling apart publicly. The great blow-up with Toby’s infamous stove is coming soon. But despite all this, Kate seemed stronger than ever.

Kate has been missing from the flash-forward even in Season 6. Something about this episode makes one wonder if Kate will die before Rebecca does. Especially the moment Rebecca chooses Kate to make her medical decisions in case Miguel ‘dies’. Very ominous.

How will the siblings navigate this next chapter of their lives? Stay tuned to find out.

About This Is Us

This Is Us is a Dan Fogelman-created American drama television series that debuted on NBC on September 20, 2016. On October 27, 2020, the fifth season will premiere. It was announced in May 2021 that the sixth season would be the series’ final.

The tv series follows the lives of three siblings, Kevin, Kate, and Randall (nicknamed the “Big Three”), along with their parents, Jack and Rebecca Pearson. It takes place primarily in the current time and employs flashbacks to illustrate their personal past.

Most episodes feature a storyline set in the present (2016–2021) and a storyline set at a particular time in the past; even so, some episodes are set in only one time period or use multiple flashback time periods. Flashbacks frequently centre on Jack and Rebecca in 1980, both before and after the birth of their children, or on the family when the Big Three are still children or adolescents (and played by two sets of younger actors).
