In last week’s episode, Cassie and Walker get to know each other during a stakeout mission. They apprehend the suspect and the Captain realizes that the counterfeiting ring is linked to a bank robber gang that Walker had gone undercover for. This requires another undercover mission to take place and Walker reaches out to an old contact from the gang, Twyla. He feels suspicious of her and wonders if she can really be trusted to go through with the mission. Walker Season 2 Episode 16 Speculation
Walker admits that he had been overly critical and suspicious of Twyla and she successfully manages to run through the undercover operation and help the rangers catch the counterfeiters. Since Twyla keeps her end of the deal, she is released on early parole.

Walker Season 2 Episode 15 Recap
After a particularly tumultuous past couple of weeks on the personal front, Walker is getting to know his new partner, Cassie at a stakeout. Walker feels betrayed that his long-term girlfriend Geri decided to put their relationship on a break after finding out that she’s really a Davidson. He felt as though she was putting the Davidsons before him. Cassie is trying to navigate her complicated and tense relationship with her old captain.
After the two arrest the suspect who had been part of a counterfeiting ring, Captain James realizes that the Rodeo Kings are also involved. Walker had gone undercover to investigate the gang before and decides to get in touch with an old contact from the gang to help him investigate the counterfeiting ring. He’s hesitant about trusting Twyla to lead them to the main person of interest and Cassie tells him his recent relationship issues might be stopping him from remaining objective.
Meanwhile, at the Walker Ranch, now occupied by the Davidsons, Stella and Colton realize that poisonous hemlock is beginning to spread and it could be dangerous for the livestock. Dan Miller and Bonham end up working together to clear out the bush and are able to set aside their differences in the process.
