FX’s American Horror Stories Season 2 to Release in July 2022

FX’s recent revelations of its summer series schedule disclosed that the second season of American Horror Stories is but a couple of months away.

According to reports, American Horror Stories’ upcoming season will be launched on July 21 on Hulu.

Since American Horror Stories was officially renewed in August, along with much of the previous cast set to return, the anticipation regarding Season 2 is at an all-time high.

While more information about what the season will contain is yet to be announced, expectations of the creators improving on the show are rife.

Created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, American Horror Stories is an anthology series that takes viewers on a thrilling ride each week. It is a spinoff of the American Horror Story franchise.

Exploring myriad tales of horror, each episode in the series has self-contained stories about myths and crimes that were more intense than the last. This is a departure from the original TV series boasting 11 seasons that had each season dedicated to a singular arc.

As the spin-off of the mainline American Horror Story series, Season 1 initially had poor reception. However, reactions leaped as the episodes Naughty List and BA’AL became game-changers.

Despite its average reception, FX had announced the series to be their most successful series on Hulu.

Since the show focuses on tales of legends and fiction, fans expect the upcoming season to be more intense than the last. However, audiences have also had their share of problems with this iteration.

Over time, many audiences have talked about references back to the mainline title being overused and marring the sense of “something around the corner” that kept fans hooked in the first place.

Going along with the mainline entries’ pattern so far, several AHS alumni like Wes Bently, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, and more might be returning as well.

Bringing in new actors might help deepen the immersive experience for fans.

Since the show’s release is set for July 21 on Hulu, more information is expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
