DC’s Legends of Tomorrow reached its mid-season and is currently on a short hiatus. As fans of the series await the arrival of the next episode, rest assured that it’s all part of the plan!
The series, which is currently on its seventh season, had a spectacular mid-season finale when episode 7, titled A Woman’s Place Is in the War Effort!, aired last week.
Some fans were left wondering if this was another covid-related delay, but The CW has made the changes to schedule its special programs for the holiday season instead.
The series will resume airing on Wednesdays at 8 PM EST on January 12, 2022. The next episode, titled Paranoid Android, will begin the second half of the season and continue the story of the new androids created by the Evil Gideon to replace the real Legends.
The ongoing season of Legends of Tomorrow is having a solid run, with episode 7 a cherry on the top. The episode transported the Legends to the 1940s in an American aerospace factory during World War II. The team works together to repair their time machine.
Among the chaos of the episode, it is revealed that the squad that Evil Gideon sends in to fight them are clones of the Legends. Bishop completes his redemption arc as he sacrifices himself to help the Legends get away from the android squad.
It was definitely a strong episode that’ll have fans long for the show’s return even more. However, even with the series on a short break, you’ll still get Legends-related content.
One of the specials airing during the hiatus is the Beebo Saves Christmas special, based on the character created for Legends of Tomorrow.
A few weeks ago, TVLine shared the first look at the one-hour animated special, which follows Sprinkles, “an efficiency-obsessed elf, deciding that Christmas would run better without Santa Claus. Beebo and his friends thus travel to the North Pole to, among other things, help discover what truly makes Christmas meaningful.”
Beebo Saves Christmas will air on December 1, 2021, during Legends of Tomorrow timeslot at 8 PM EST and will later be available on The CW’s website.
