Monster World Looks Exciting In Rumble’s Trailer; Film To Release In Dec

A fresh take on the monster world, Rumble will finally reach the audience on Paramount+ on December 15, 2021.

The company announced the movie’s official release date with a new trailer showcasing more monstery things, albeit the scary-looking stereotypes.

After going through multiple delays and setbacks, the monster sports-comedy animation movie Rumble will see the light of the day next month. The release announcement is somewhat a bittersweet feeling as fans who waited for it desired to experience it on the big screen.

Rumble’s latest trailer shows more glimpses into Steve (voiced by Will Arnett) and Winnie McEvoy’s (voiced by Geraldine Viswanathan) journey to become the next big thing in the Monster Wrestling world, to revive their city, Stoker’s reputation.

The video shows Winnie struggling to coach the lazy, uninterested Steve, who finds his calling in dancing. An Aha! Moment occurs when Winnie remarks, “wrestling is 80% footwork,” and there we have it: Steve defeating other monsters in the ring with tangos and other forms of dances.

We also meet his competitors – the “biggest” ones like Ramarilla and Axe Hammer and the “baddest” ones like King Gorge. The trailer ends on a probably heavy blow to Tentacular (Terry Crews), the reigning champion of Monster Wrestling.

Rumble’s tagline reads – The Biggest Underdog Story Ever – as a red reptilian, Steve stands with his back towards the screen, and a tiny Winnie stands on his shoulders. The poster was released back in February 2020, when the release date in theaters was set for January 2021.

After others picked up multiple movies for streaming from Paramount (The Trial of The Chicago 7. Netflix and The Tomorrow War, Amazon), a theatrical release did look bleak for Rumble.

While nothing could capture the experience of a big screen, Steve and Winnie’s journey will fill hearts with love and laughter on their home screens.

Rumble will premiere exclusively on Paramount+ on December 15, 2021.
